How It Feels
Over the past few months, less so now, I've been experiencing some fairly intense spouts of anxiety. Something incredibly new and quite frightening for me. After a bunch of CBT sessions, my therapist recommended channeling my experience into video form. So, here you are. With the help of the incredible Suli Breaks, I've made this little video. Gary eventually meets Madonna, an old street woman for, as Tom McSorley of Take One Magazine calls, "some of the most awkward and decidedly twisted sex in all of Canadian cinema." The film explores deep into the psyche of the protagonist, touching the viewer in more ways than one.

Travelling-Salesman Alfie Zimmer dreams of publishing a book about the graffiti he's encountered on his travels, but when the voices in his head start to get the better of him, he leaves the decision to go ahead with the publication up to fate and he may or may not come out alive.

Heaven-Bound Travelers
Heaven-Bound Travelers (circa 1935) was discovered among the rolls of film in the Gist collection at the Library of Congress by S. Torriano Berry during the recent restoration of Hell-Bound Train. Eloyce Gist takes a central role onscreen as a wife and mother who is wrongfully accused of adultery by her husband and is left to fend for herself and their daughter in the world. As she struggles to sustain them, the husband becomes riddled with guilt and struggles with his decision, and the social realism of the drama shifts to an allegorical struggle between the devil, appearing to tempt humanity to sin, and the angels. The film does not exist in complete form but the fragments show a project of ambitious scope. Presented with a score composed and performed by Dr. Samuel Waymon.

From that time, teens who witnessed this scene are allusions more or less directly to the possible homosexuality of Maxim. A revelation will then destabilize the group.
Summer Solstice
Clara returns to her grandparents' house to celebrate the festivity of San Juan with her younger brothers. Mireia, the youngest, has been living in the house whilst finishing her studies. Despite the siblings' intention to relive their childhood's summer memories, the trip becomes a wheel of tension and silence when they discover that Mireia is prostituting herself with a neighbor from the village that is much older than her.
